Wandering Star is an investigation into strabismus, examining
the relationship between a physical condition and the construction of
identity, and how this visual divergence influences the experience of
seeing and being seen. Rather than seeking a
firm resolution, the project reflects on the social and psychological

This project explores contemporary Oman through the eyes of its younger generations, delving into the lives and dreams of a population that is 65% under the age of 25. The work documents the delicate balance between deep-rooted traditions and a modern, forward-thinking vision for the future. These images are part of a broader collective project.

India’s cinema landscape reflects its deep social divisions through three distinct types of theaters: dying single-screen halls, expanding modern multiplexes, and often unregulated video parlors. Frequented by specific audiences based on their socio-economic background, these venues serve as a tangible metaphor for a social fabric that remains profoundly fragmented.
